The following compilers have been tested and should be compatible with KlayGE:
- Microsoft Visual C++ 9.0 on Windows (Visual Sudio .NET 2008 SP1), Microsoft Visual C++ 10.0 (Visual Studio 2010 SP1), Microsoft Visual C++ 11.0 Beta.
- MinGW GCC 4.4, 4.5, 4.6 on Windows.
- GNU GCC 4.4 on Linux.
- CrystaX NDK r7 with GCC 4.4.3
There are a number of compilers that should also be supported, but have not been tested:
- Microsoft Visual C++ 7.1 and 8.0 on Windows (Visual Studio .NET 2003 and 2005)
- Intel C++ 10 and above on Windows
- Intel C++ 9 on Linux
